Let’s start with the obvious. The old layout is gone. What you get now is a completely redesigned interface based on our unified UI standard. It’s clear, familiar, and fast. Discount types are grouped more intuitively, creating rules is no longer a maze, and moving through the module feels smooth and predictable. And that’s just the surface. A lot has changed underneath, too.

Updated logs: faster, smarter, and more convenient

The logging section you relied on so far has been refreshed to align with our current standards. While the previous version handled its job, this new setup offers a cleaner, more structured view. Finding specific actions is easier, log types are clearly grouped by volume, and individual entries are more readable. It’s everything you expect from our standard logging experience.

Translations: no more guesswork, no more files

One of the biggest highlights in version 2.0 is the Translations system. Until now, language customization often meant diving into files and hoping nothing broke. That era is over.

The new Translations tool shows you exactly what’s missing from your language file. If any strings are absent, they’ll be highlighted clearly and immediately. You don’t have to dig or guess. You can now change any existing translation directly from within the module, live, without touching files. If you need to localize a label or tweak a phrase for your clients, just do it on the spot. And if you’re setting up a new language version, you can clone an existing one, but also upload your own, or export everything for backup. It’s fast, and it works the way you’d expect it to.

We also introduced Dynamic Translations. These let you redefine hardcoded or technical phrases that normally aren’t accessible, like API errors and system-generated alerts. Instead of confusing messages, you can now show friendly, informative texts that speak your client’s language.

Access control: You’re in charge now

With Access Control, you define exactly who can manage or view specific parts of the module. Assign permissions by admin role and tailor access to fit your internal processes without compromise. This is especially useful in larger teams or multi-role environments where control and accountability are key.

Usage history & discount recalculation

Full visibility into how discounts are used has been among the most requested features, and it’s finally here. You can now track when a discount was applied, to whom, and under what conditions. But this isn’t just another log viewer.

Usage History is a functional layer built into the module, letting you go beyond a simple review. You can now reassign, recalculate, or even reuse a discount directly from the addon. Perfect for when order details change, or when rules need to be updated after the fact.

More tools you’ll appreciate

Among other hyper-useful features, you will find in the addon an enhanced option for HTML-based labels customization. Formatting is now handled entirely through a dedicated CSS file. You still have access to useful variables like {$oldPrice}, {$newPrice}, but visual tweaks are now far cleaner and more flexible thanks to CSS.

Need to apply a discount personally? You now have the choice to apply discounts when placing orders manually from the admin area. It’s a simple setting, but one that gives you better control in edge cases or when handling requests on a client’s behalf.

This update marks a fresh chapter for Discount Center For WHMCS. It now stands alongside our most advanced WHMCS modules, following the same visual standard and toolset. All the power of the original module is still there, just rebuilt to match what modern WHMCS management demands.

Portainer Docker Containers For WHMCS is the first WHMCS module built specifically to integrate with Portainer. It allows you to offer automated provisioning with complete control over the setup, templates, and user experience. The module currently handles integration with Docker through Portainer (up to 3 nodes for free), and includes native support for both containers and stacks.

Just see how little you actually have to do once this robust tool gets to work. As soon as the order is in, the module automatically provisions a container or stack in Portainer. In this process, you can either configure a default template that will be used to create the selected service, or let the client choose one at checkout through configurable options.

Template configuration & Traefik support

The dedicated addon module gives you a clean UI for managing all settings related to advanced configuration templates. You can easily define container or stack applications down to the last detail: add names and descriptions, or even customize them with your own images using the built-in Media Library.

You can also configure labels, including Traefik-specific ones, in order to enable domain-based routing. With Traefik and Portainer on the same Docker network, your client’s container becomes accessible through a simple domain, no port numbers required.

A closer look at the admin perspective

Behind the scenes, the module gives you full control over the product experience. Each one can have specific resource limits, such as reserved memory, maximum memory, or CPU core allocation. These can be fixed per product or offered as configurable options during ordering. All your services are neatly gathered in one clear list on the addon dashboard, so everything’s easy to find and quick to check.

As part of your privileges, you can also adjust the range of available features for your clients, including access to logs, console, graphs, and reinstallation options. With the same ease, you can choose which functions you want to manage from the service view in the admin area, enabling only what matters most to you and skipping anything that falls outside your focus.

What it looks like for clients

With our module, users gain complete control over their service without logging into Portainer. The single container or full stack page view includes convenient action buttons allowing them to start, stop, or restart the service in addition to the essential details listed, such as name, status, image, and IP address.

Thanks to the data collected under Published Ports, clients can instantly see which container port is linked to which host port. And if Traefik integration is enabled, they will also be able to check which domain is being used. Additionally, the module makes it easy to monitor container performance using real-time graphs that display CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network activity.

For more advanced users, the module provides access to general activity taking place on products across WHMCS, along with container logs, which will definitely come in handy whenever troubleshooting is needed.

And if the user wants to modify something or execute a command inside the container, the interactive console session lets them jump straight in and apply changes directly from the client area.

When needed, clients can also reinstall their container or stack using predefined application templates. This makes it easy to restore or change the environment with just a few clicks.

One module: two modes to choose your type

With version 4.0, you no longer need to juggle two separate WHMCS modules. A single product allows you to define whether to behave as VPS or Cloud type. Once selected, the module dynamically adjusts its settings to match your desired provisioning style.

For WHMCS administrators, this essentially means:

• One product group to manage.
• No duplication of products or configuration options.
• A more organized and cleaner admin area.

Client area: all features, for everyone

The client area has been fully modernized and unified across both product types, offering a consistent visual experience built on our latest framework. Whether a client is handling a VPS or a Cloud instance, they get the same modern interface and access to the full range of tools, which means no more missing features based on the service in use.

Thanks to the merge, tools that were previously exclusive to one product type are now available for both. For example, Backup Collection now allows clients to organize and manage their backups more efficiently, making it easier to access and download stored copies. Backup Schedules enable automated backup creation through recurring jobs tailored to individual client schedules, a feature that was previously unavailable for Cloud-type products but is now fully supported.

Additionally, clients can now take advantage of Resource Notifications, which alert them when resource thresholds for CPU, RAM, or disk are exceeded, an essential addition for keeping virtual machines healthy and under control. Lastly, VM Power Tasks are now accessible directly from the client area, allowing users to schedule shutdowns, reboots, and power-on actions. These operations are now processed via the queue to assure stability and proper task execution.

All existing tools like Graphs, Snapshots, Firewall, Reinstallation, and Network settings are fully preserved and available on both product types. Feel free to also check our documentation for more details on how each tool functions.

Addon: improved integration with extra tools

With only one product to integrate, the Proxmox VE VPS & Cloud addon is now deeply synchronized with the main module and all created services. This eliminates version mismatches between VPS and Cloud products and ensures full compatibility with both existing services and future updates.

In addition to better integration, this WHMCS addon includes a whole collection of new operational tools right out of the box, designed to enhance both backend management and overall performance.

App Templates & Media Library

One of the standout additions in version 4.0 is the built-in App Templates section, backed by the Media Library.

App Templates let you define preconfigured VM environments, perfect for offering ready-to-use systems like WordPress, cPanel, or LAMP stacks. You can handle a number of custom parameters, including for KVM and LXC templates, archives, and ISO images. The level of control goes deep, covering everything from names and descriptions to logotype images.

The Media Library serves as a central store for ISOs and template images. Clients can select a preferred OS or app image during VM creation, making the provisioning process faster and more user-friendly.

This system not only improves the client experience but also allows providers to upsell niche or premium templates with minimal effort.

Cron Scheduler & Queue

Task automation gets even easier thanks to the Cron Scheduler, responsible for handling all recurring commands without manual setup. Once a module is activated, any regularly scheduled jobs are automatically added to the scheduler, so there is no need to configure each one individually.

You can set custom intervals for each task (like every 5 minutes or hourly), while the main scheduler cron job takes care of executing them. And if needed, any task can be triggered on demand, bypassing its regular schedule and running within the next scheduler cycle.

Meanwhile, actions like power operations, snapshot creation, and backups are managed by a more reliable and transparent queue mechanism.

The enhanced queuing logic ensures:

• Tasks are processed in the right order.
• Simultaneous actions don’t conflict.
• Admins and clients get real-time feedback on task progress.

About the beta release

This is the public beta version of Proxmox VE VPS & Cloud For WHMCS 4.0. We’ve merged the core feature sets, revamped the UI, and delivered a unified product, but as with any beta, a few elements are still on the way.

Please note that the beta doesn’t include a migration tool, so if you’re currently using either of the modules, your services can’t be automatically transferred to the new system just yet. A dedicated migration tool will arrive in the stable release to support a safe transition from existing configurations.

As development moves toward a stable version, we’d love for you to install the beta in a test environment to get a feel for what’s new. It’s a great chance to explore the updated UI, play around with the new options, and see where things are heading.
